Paul's Heart

Life As A Dad, And A Survivor

Three Years In A Row

I am so psyched to announce that for the third year in a row, a story I have written has been selected to be printed in the 2014 Visible Ink Anthology written by cancer patients and survivors, published by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

I am not going to give my submission away until the book is actually printed, but it is titled “What’s Your Sign? Mine Is Cancer.”

If you would like to see my previous two submissions, look under “pages”. My first submission was called “CABG – Not Just A Green Leafy Vegetable” and the second was called “Life On A Class Five”.

The neat thing about this writing project is not that it is a completely personal account by patients and survivors, but along with the printing, several of the pieces are selected to be performed by professional actors and musicians on a special night for the writers, their families, and the sponsors who help to produce this extremely moving book. I am honored that another submission has been selected. I must admit, I am 0 for 3 however in getting my submission performed.

There is always 2015.
